Over the last couple of days, we've had some time to play with Sony's recently-released F5/F55 firmware version 3.0. The new firmware has tons of updates, which are outlined in Jeff's previous blog, but I wanted to specifically highlight a couple of the new features including Super16 Center Scan mode, new LUT options, and High Frame Rate mode. Firmware v3.0 truly delivers on the full potential of the F5 & F55 – check out my video above to see what I mean.

Sony's latest firmware v3.0 is full of big updates to the F5, F55 and AXS-R5 RAW recorder. Andy recently did a blog on some of the new features, and while updating the firmware on the cameras is a pretty straightforward process, the R5 is a bit trickier.
