Arri’s website has a great set of resources for anyone interested in working with the ALEXA / ALEXA XT, from a menu simulator to downloadable footage, to videos explaining how to work with ARRIRAW. One of the best of these resources is their comprehensive ALEXA XT FAQ. The FAQ does a nice job of outlining the differences between the ALEXA XT and ALEXA Classic, as well as covering questions about the XR Module, 4:3 Sensor, and Arri’s Lens Data System. For more information on topics such as image processing, workflow, and power, make sure to visit the general ALEXA FAQ. Please note: the ALEXA XT FAQ doesn’t repeat any information found in the manual and it applies to ALEXA XT, ALEXA XT M, ALEXA XT Plus and ALEXA XT Studio cameras with Software Update Packet 8.0 (ALEXA XT/XR) or above.
